Dilworth is a charming community filled with a mix of 1960 bungalow’s and brand new craftman style homes. As you wander through the tree lined community you will for sure be enamored with this quaint community.
As with its neighboring community, South End, Dilworth does not fall short on the foodie scene. The difference lies in the pace, while South End is full of hustle and bustle, Dilworth is the community where you sit and stay awhile. Filled with picturesque wine and coffee shops, its is a great place to sit back and unwind. If you looking for a great glass of wine, head on over to the Dilworth Tasting Room or Foxcroft Wine Co. or if you are more of a coffee person, head on over to Crema Espresso Bar and Cafe or, of course, Starbucks. And if you need donuts to go with your coffee, make sure to stop at Duck Donuts for some one of a kind flavors.
If you happen to be in town at the beginning of September, be sure to check out the Greek Festival. This authentic festival brings life to the greek culture, filled with food, music, clothes, and some of the best baklava and Dalgona coffee you’ll find outside of visiting Greece itself.
Lastly, be sure to take time and explore Freedom Park. This expansive, 98 acre, park is a great asset for the community and is filled with baseball fields, batting cages, tennis courts, soccer fields, basket ball courts, volleyball courts, playgrounds, NFL Play KidZone and numerous walking trails. On any given weekend you can find a plethora of activities going on.
